I didn't translate the whole original thread, but just parts of it, so I might be missing something, but this is definitely something that we should care about!
The fact that you can make an Advanced Electrinic Signature with the Italian ID Card seems almost unkown (usually people will just send scans of paper signatures) but the idea of owning your signature in your equiment seems so elegant, yet disregarded.
