Say what you want, but offline ecash payments seem like the best alternative for internet and power outages.
I know we can use satellites, radio, mesh networks, and even send a PSBT to a friend with an online node. But the average joe will probably benefit from just having a small balance for 15-30 spend.
Also, speed wise, is you need to buy food or gas, ecash is probably faster than sending a USB with a PSBT to a friend in another city.
What do you all think?
