#AI image upscaling is truly awful and no one should be using it. It makes up details that aren’t there and basically *lies* about what the image contains. It looks like AI made it, because to a large extent, it did.
Someone posted this upscaled image to Facebook, and I happen to have the original image from 2001. Look how bad the upscaled image is.
