“Footbridge” across the Chiwawa River on the Schaefer Lake Trail for #ThickTrunkTuesday. We didn’t take it, just wanted to check it out during a reconn trip last week. Did hike to the lake about 20 years ago, a great one in the Glacier Peak Wilderness. Giant trees in the meander plain across the river, we were attacked by a black grouse on that hike. #GetOutside #Hiking
