right but the mutation could have arisen during the serial passaging itself. anyway my argument rests on it being a plausible-to-acquire mutation (ie, a few base pairs flipped or a frameshift or similar, a mutation that's seen commonly), and I only vaguely remember that to be the case, and am currently unwilling to open a 🐰hole that I **will** go down for hours and/or days, so... 😆
