While on my walk with the dogs this morning, I saw a "murder" of crows harassing a hawk along a stretch of tree lined baseball and soccer fields nearby.
Who knows why this occurs? Are they vying for a carcass or something, are the crows worried the hawk may try and snag a young crow, or is it the other way around - that the hawk is trying to protect itself or a chick from the big bad crows?
Who knows their birds? Can you help?
