I will never, never pay again for Ultimate support from Lenovo. This has got to be the worst service I've ever had. Instead of same-day repair onsite, the technician broke my laptop and left it unusable for six days.

This was after the Lenovo call center pressured me hard not to get onsite support--which I paid for and they tout as a benefit--and send the laptop into a depot. And when I say pressure, they held my repair ticket for a day while a supervisor approved the onsite visit, again for service for a covered laptop which I paid for. The phone tech squirmed when I told him that's what I wanted, and he let slip that the supervisor was pushing for depot support "but I already told him you refused."

This is so nickel-dime, low rent asshattery. I'll just keep my money next time and just expect to send it in and be without it. After all, the only difference is that my broken laptop is here and not in transit somewhere.
