Hey #DIY how-to-do-things-knowers: I'm building a ~800mm high retaining wall with steel H-channel posts and hardwood sleepers. If I dig as far down as they are up, meaning half of the steel posts will be buried, that will be enough, right? The soil is pretty solid clay (and tree roots) and I'll be concreting them in.
