I would add the comment that any investigation of UBI is incomplete without a racial element
Right-thinking Whites that are down on their luck might see UBI as a hand up to better themselves, but blacks are just gonna treat it like more gibs
Regardless, there is ample evidence that humans short-circuit when they don’t engage in meaningful work
