Seeing a few places in social media where people are saying "waterfall is good actually"
- "We're going to say what we'll do, do it, and make no mistakes" Has a certain vibe, appeals to a social conservative mind set.
What's wrong with that? The hubris. In most software or any inventing, we don't know what we want, we do it with so many mistakes. Until you live through it you might not notice how much of waterfall is uninformed hubris.
