Apparently Trump has talked about nuking the local government in the District of Columbia. We --- that is, the people here (we're based in DC) --- already don't have any voting representation at the national level. Taking away the pittance of democracy from the people in the nation's capital would be harmful to the people here and emblematic of MAGA's nationalist, not conservative, proclivities.
