I hear you. Went out last winter during a big CA swell. In hindsight, I had no business being out. Got caught inside and nearly feet away from getting bashed into the rocky coast wall. Scared the shit out of me and took a couple months to get my bearings back together. The ocean is beautiful, humbling and sometimes unforgiving. Heal up and rest up!
