Abu Dhabi (The Union) concluded its 'Emirati-African Dialogue' activities, which were organized in collaboration with the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, with the participation of a group of experts, scholars, diplomats, and policymakers to discuss ways to strengthen relations between African countries south of the Sahara and Gulf states, with a focus on Emirati-African relations. In the sidelines of the 'Emirati-African Dialogue', H.H. Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, State Minister, and Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda, attended a discussion session focused on Emirati-African cooperation in the fields of climate change, food security, and green transformation towards sustainable development. H.H. Sheikh Shakhbout emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the UAE and African countries south of the Sahara to face common challenges, and explained that this constructive dialogue reflects the distinctive approach of Emirati-African relations, which is based on trust and mutual respect, as well as the UAE's keenness to build bridges of communication that support sustainable development in the region, stressing that the Emirati-African dialogue is a strategic platform for exchanging visions and experiences to deepen people-to-people ties, contributing to building a sustainable future that serves future generations. Meanwhile, Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda, thanked the UAE and the organizing entities for hosting and organizing this dialogue, which enhances joint cooperation and contributes to strengthening sustainable partnerships that benefit all.
