I think cooking zhoug would kill what makes it good. Fresh is best, baby. But would definitely be flavourful.

A gentle heating of the zhoug might be okay. I usually microwave my salsa for 30 seconds before I have it on huevos rancheros to take the chill off and get it •just• warm. I’d probably do same for zhoug in that instance to protect the herby goodness. I’m so fussy. 😂
