On the "pick a server", this is the problem when techie people try communicating with other humans. They should have said, "Pick a service provider". This, people understand. Everyone easily picked an email service provider without a second thought. But if they had to pick a server, it would have taken people a lot longer to use email. People pick an electric and gas service provider, they pick insurance providers. Heating system maintenance providers. They don't pick a freaking server.
"Pick a server", when you think about it, makes no sense, and a confused market never buys.
