What surprises me is that it takes about a week for a downturn to filter through into the reported KiwiSaver figure. Not sure if the lag is in the reporting to the consumer or if there's some financial equivalent of where Wily E Coyote continues to run along the road for a minute after it has gone before plummeting to his doom.",
