I'll even admit that you may have a point.
HOWEVER, bears show little to no change in affect before attacking people, and they are known to eat humans while still alive, unlike many other mammalian predators that kill their prey before devouring them. Also, the fact that they can literally slap a person's face off is the stuff nightmares are made of.
