Hubert Aiwanger, vice ministerpresident of Germany's largest and wealthiest state, Bavaria, is presumably the author of pamphlet which is exhibited in KZ Ausschwitz as an example of antisemitism in the 80ties.
That's where we are. Germany is drifting rightwards quickly, and the "civil society" we have been so proud of seems to be just non existent. I guess this is part of an european trend, from Sweden to Hungary, Poland to Italy, France to Germany ...
I know of someone from Leipzig, who has children with a women of color who says they can't do an side trip to the country side out of fear of being attacked.
