The public has until this Sunday (11th) to visit the exhibition 'Other Landscapes', on display at the Galeria 3 of the National Museum of the Republic. With free admission, the show brings together 27 artists from different regions of the country and proposes a multifaceted look at the concept of landscape, addressing themes such as belonging, ancestry, and contemporary relationships with nature. To mark the closing, the Museum has prepared a special program. On Friday (10th), from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm, the seminar 'Experience in the Landscape' will be held at the Auditório 2. The activity is part of the 2025 Lecture Cycle and is a result of a partnership between the National Museum, the University of Brasília, the State University of Santa Catarina, MidiaLabBR, and the exhibition itself. Artists from the show, curators, and researchers will participate in the debate, bringing different perspectives on the concept of landscape in art and culture. On the 10th and 11th, at 10:00 am, free cultural mediation activities will also be held at the exhibition, with the presence of part of the curatorial team and invited artists. The idea is to offer the public a more intimate experience with the works and the reflections they propose. Curated by Juliana Crispe, Other Landscapes expands our understanding of what landscape is in contemporary art, going beyond aesthetics and touching on urgent issues of the present. 'The exhibition is composed of artists from different regions and ethnicities, and invites us to see the landscape as a space of ancestry and consciousness,' says Juliana. Already Fran Favero, director of the Museum, highlights the social role of art in this context: 'This show responds to urgent desires of society. It is essential that exhibitions be connected to themes as relevant as belonging and the environment.'
