EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing)
Eye movements have no neurological effect. The explanations offered are nonsense. They *might* provide dual attention & griunding: you're thinking both of your trauma & focusing on your eye movements. But there's nothing special re eye movements. Zero. Exposure & managing arousal are the key ingredients to trauma therapy. So I won't object to EMDR but I won't specially approve funding. Ok so long as you're doubt live exposure (real life, in vivo)
