Not mansplaining directed at you two, but just a caveat for "regular" people to think about *before* anchoring their online identity to a domain, is who owns the TLD.
That cool TLD you got might become really fucking expensive in 10 years, so it might be better to stick with boring stuff like .net, .com, .de etc.
Just a nightmare scenario I went over in my mind the other day...what steps would be necessary to safely abandon my old domain of 8+ years and move to a new one, should it become too expensive one day 😅
