I have 10x the followers I did on Twitter and I post the same stuff. Records, women, odd bits of pop culture minutiae and sometimes a little math.
It's been about 9 months since I first joined (different names, different instances). There's a few crazies - a toast to the guy who blocked me because I didn't like Cat's In The Cradle - but yeah this is far friendlier. Mastodon has it's problems but yeah someone was asking "what's good about the internet these days" and I thought "well, this?"
