To some extent this is already happening, what we are seeing in international trade (and supply chain) terms is a move to more regional networks.... sometimes refereed to as 'friend-shoring' (ugly term), where trusted neighbours & regional nearby countries are now more favoured as destinations & markets for outsourcing.
