It’s a difficult one. Most people (who are even aware) think that Mastodon is the whole Fediverse/ActivityPub.
I’m pretty sure no one will search ActivityPub when looking for a Fediverse client. I suspect the same with happen with Nostr, one client becoming dominant and only true Nostr enthusiasts using other clients.
I don’t have the answer, just noting that this is in fact my 2nd rodeo.
