Usually when I try, they won’t consider it, as they’ve already made their decision. Often choosing the perceived “easiest” option. Doesn’t help knowing that people tend to make choices based on mass coercion, but not much I can do about that. The decision was theirs, and for better or worse, I can’t take that away from them.
