I hope they don't. As much as improved Linux driver coverage would be great, I am a small government kinda dude. Government doesn't need to be involved in these things.
I feel the same way about their law forcing Apple to use USBC. The fact that USBC is now legally required will be a ball and chain on the leg of innovation when somebody invents USB-D.
