My mom's power is still out too. I keep refreshing Duke Energy's outage map. They've been working hard! Went from 390k customers out yesterday morning to 200k this morning.
I wondered if it was better to send out all repair crews immediately and have them work as long as they can, or if it's better to save some in reserve so they can start working when the first crew has to go to bed. I assume they went with the former since no repairs happened overnight.
