"content": "The two big differences are 10 vs 5.5 yr lifecycle and minor versions. If 5.5 yrs is sufficient, and you don't have software that requires a specific RHEL minor version, then I think you'll be well served by using CentOS. Extra things to consider:\n\n- If you are wanting to start with EL10, then picking CentOS means that you'll get it this year instead of next year.\n- EPEL 10 will prioritize CentOS, so I think package availability will be slightly better for CentOS users.",
