Autism and disability supports NZ
The disability support system in NZ has begun rejecting some autism diagnoses by qualified clinical professionals as insufficient for eligibility for disability supports.
This is likely part of the expense control the Govt is implementing which will leave people with real needs unable to access them. This has happened quietly and without transparency and consultation, even though promises have been made to do so.
