Over a year ago, I bought two Diamine sheening inks: Ruby Blues, and Black Ivy. Only Ruby Blues seemed to exhibit red sheen when I wrote in my (supposedly ftn pen friendly) journals, on Rhodia pad, and on Bristol, using ultra flex nib fountain pens. Black Ivy never seemed to show much sheen, though it's a nice intense blackish green ink that I enjoyed otherwise.
But last night I wrote an entry in Black Ivy on my new Iroful softcover notebook. WOW. So much intense red sheen, even after drying... simply stunning. LUUUV my #Iroful paper! Plus, no matter how wet my ZebraG nib flows and pools while writing, it never bleeds through to the back.
