I used to love trading the widow-maker spread in my personal account.
Like the article says it’s basically a futures spread, where you trade the March April futures in nat gas versus one another. This spread typically trades at a premium, but wildly fluctuates due to the unpredictability sometimes in weather during the winter.
I wouldn’t touch this spread unless you really have an appetite for risk and understand these weather patterns, as it can move 100% in a day easily
