Periodic reminders about attention:
- If everything has the highest priority, this means that everything also has the lowest priority. You need to choose.
- Trying to signal your app or web page users as having unread messages, but they’re useless “unread” messages like new ads or a fake support chat saying “hey there”? This serves no purpose other than to have your users ignore you when you actually want to get their attention for a legitimate reason.
