He will continue to say what nearly touches the lines without getting himself in trouble, and will continue to be one of the mainstream thought leaders in the space. However, you must not forget he is still part of the system bitcoin was designed to protest against.
He can say all he wants about the ability to send money to the poor, without borders, and providing banking to the unbanked. But he is still in charge of a publicly traded company, and obligated first to the government, which regulates his business, and the shareholders, which the government requires he act accordingly to first.
Commendable as it may be, his charity comes second to his professional obligations.
