Well, if you assume a log that can be indexed then you can sign off on your last message directing a message towards your new public key. But that is assuming people are collecting all of the Notes and figuring out how to index them, which perhaps is setting sail for Scuttlebotlandia via an indirect course. And perhaps this isn't necessarily a wrong idea.
The solution is clearly not giving someone your private key to hold onto, no matter what they tell all of us.
