I was wondering how to solve a mathematical problem that arose from thinking about how to play an RPG solo while somehow hiding information from yourself.
At first I was unsure what the best procedure was. So in the meantime I thought about how I might write some code to test any solution I might come up with. Designing the test was easy.
And then, silly me, I noticed that the test was in fact identical to solving the original problem. Weird.
I'll describe the actual problem a bit later.
