I've never had visible brush marks or issues with it obscuring details, actually had that more with spray. I get a complete coverage though it's not as opaque. You can paint over it right away though I tend to prime and leave to actually cure. And it's much cheaper. The only cans I'd recommend are army colours for speed or metallics for finish. Probably just as fast too.
