I just finished episode 1 of the Chinese version, and it's very true to the book so far. The show is not presented in the same exact chronological order, but it's a good adaptation. It will take me a while to get through it all, but I'm stoked because I didn't know it was available. I'll report back many moons from now when I watch both versions.
