The final panel discussion for
"Eight years of Prototype Fund" in Berlin last Saturday.

I outline the complementary role of the Prototype Fund for innovation and socially meaningful open source development against that of the newly re-minted Sovereign Technology Agency for funding maintenance of existing critical open source infrastructure. The social criticality & sovereignty of 'infrastructure' can be examined through the lens of multiple levels of scale, from the personal, to regional, to the national and EU levels.
