Have you looked into Qubes, where *everything* you do all day long is on a VM by default? They have made it so easy and smooth. Been using it for 2 years, and my only regret is that I didn't start sooner. I don't feel safe using normie Linux anymore. (Not to mention the macOS and Windows spyware systems, obviously.)
