Housewives and stay at home moms do so much. The way I see it, if you can make money off their job (nanny or maid or cook, etc.) Then it's a job.
In a relationship with traditional roles highlighted, the most healthy way to view it imo is both roles are difficult and equal. Marriage is a partnership and both are the head partnership leading their families. Each one does a different part to contributing to the family.
