I can't help but notice that, when people mention supposed real-world use-cases for chatbots they've seen, it involves almost exclusively the free tiers.
That is, some people find some use of chatbots as long as somebody else is footing the bill.
The very significant hardware, energy, development and support bill that is currently being paid by burning VC money and ignoring laws.
