It pisses me off SO much that a lack of people cycling in the winter is used as an excuse to not build (or even tear out!!) protected bicycle lane infrastructure, when a basic look at WHY nobody cycles in the winter reveals that it's entirely because the bike network is dangerous, and the snow is never plowed!
