One of my favorite current pastimes is perusing replies for people offended by my taking issue with ableism/social Darwinism generally because one political party - Tories, CPC, GOP, Aussie liberals - do it worse.
As if that excuses it on the left (hi, Dix and Bonnie Henry. Hi PM Albo. Hi Biden.)
As if that doesnt mean 90% of people arent ableist.
Doing better is the goal, not blue sports team vs red sports team excusing of bad behavior.
