It’s time for me to come clean about my past.
Many years ago I was reading a book and was so pissed at it I wrote “What Bullshit” in the margin.
I then continued for a couple of paragraphs explaining why. Didn’t matter since I wasn’t going to keep it. Nor sell it. I did not wish to inflict such drivel on anyone else.
A satisfying thunk as it hit the trash can.
Only then did I see the call letters.
I had Defaced a Library Book.
I’ve spent 50 years now looking over my shoulder.
