With any luck, yes but given how pliant some the populace is towards sabotaging themselves at the request of people who'll profit from it we might not see that until it's too late. We still need to shake off the malaise of Thatcherite thinking and recognise we have way more in common with our continental counterparts than the offspring of the officious folk we had to kick out.
