There’s the garden variety “crabs in a bucket” mentality that probably most people have.

Then there’s the next level of engineered dependence that is practiced commonly in corporate America and other such fiefdoms.

When you’re the type of person attracted to bitcoin it’s quite jarring. You discover there are many people that thrive from actively sabotaging subordinates/peers just so they can engineer opportunities to plagiarize, seek rent and extract value. You’re genuinely taken aback because you don’t understand why someone would want to make the world worse off in this petty way.

Thank god for bitcoin.
