Can you link me to evidence supporting the claim that certain feedback loops can no longer be stopped?
I have not seen any scientific articles making that claim, as of yet. I have seen studies showing permafrost is melting and releasing methane but that, while related, is a far weaker claim.
Though, I agree that the framing can be problematic as some degree of warming will continue even after we stop increasing CO2. But we can still prevent the worst of it.
