Same here, it's better if you use a "real" client, I believe Damus has (I remember jb55 (npub1xts…kk5s) said he was going to implement it, not sure if he has already) local note storage?
With most web clients, it's up to the relays to be able to retrieve the parent note when you request it, and from the evidence, they fail often.
I am not a nostr developer, so this may be completely wrong, una pizca de sal... 😉
