Damage to the ecosystem is, in my view, damage to others.
I'm just cautious that it not become an excuse to centrally manage every aspect of people's lives. We have elements of that now, where we send in a third of what we produce to a government led by someone like Trump or President Biden, and they use it manage personal decisions like movement of people and goods, medicine, drug use, education, trades considered unsavory, etc.
