yeah no ads as it's paid. it doesn't really have a lot in the way of active discovery, but i still find new people to follow from time to time. the interface is definitely not the most polished but it has been actively improved quite a bit over the couple years i've had my subscription. much like youtube you have like a homepage which is mainly showing off new content or creators, but there's also the library area which is for your subscriptions. idk if that really answers your curiosities
